- Summary:
This two bedroomed apartment is situated on the second floor and comprises of a lounge which has two sofas one of which can be used as a sofa bed (please advise if this is necessary so bedding can be provided). There is dining seating for four and lounge seating for six, plus table and chairs on the spacious outside terrace. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and overlooks the pool, bedroom 2 has twin beds. In each bedroom there are fitted wardrobes with ample storage space, all bedding and towels will be provided along with beach towels, which will help with baggage restrictions. The bathroom comprises of a bath, shower, toilet, bidet and a storage cupboard underneath the wash hand basin. There is a separate, well equipped kitchen with an oven, ceramic hob with extractor fan, microwave, fridge, washing machine, kettle, toaster, iron, crockery, cutlery, saucepans, and serving dishes.

Although the apartment is for 4 people there is also a double sofa bed so can sleep 6 at an additional cost of 10e per persom per night. Mid stay linen change is also available at 10euros per person.
Details
The apartment is in a gated complex with secure parking at the main entrance. There are two pools, one swimming pool and a splash pool for children. During the high season there is a life guard. There are lawned areas with palm trees that provide shade.
Local Area
Albatros is a fabulous location, only a five minute walk to the main square, where you will find a supermarket, a large selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is just another short stroll from there, and here you will find the shores of the Mar Menor (little sea) which is a salt water lagoon separated from the Mediterranean by La Manga. A ferry service is available between June and September from Los Alcazares.
The area is very flat, making it ideal for walking and cycling. Only 2km away from the motorway making easy access to all the Murcia region, the historical city of Cartagena, the Calblanque Nature reserve, La Zenia Boulevard (for the shopping enthusiast) and many golf courses are all within easy reach. Tuesdays and Saturdays are markets days in Los Alcazares where many bargains can be found as well as fresh, locally grown fruit and vegetables. There is also a small Monday market at 'La Zona mini-golf' (opposite Consum supermarket) which is a short walk from the apartment and an ideal place to visit if you have small children.

Just back home after a really enjoyable holiday in Los Alcazares. The apartment was clean and really well equiped. The Albatros Complex was clean, quiet and well situated close to all amenities. The pool set in pleasant surroundings. We hope to return in the near future. Norman and Jean.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for such a wonderful holiday. Admittedly the weather was very kind to us, but your apartment is charming and welcoming and a joy to come back to. Los Alcazares is a friendly town with everything you could need (apart from Zara) but thanks to Suzi I managed to get to a couple of those as well. Cannot wait to come back.
We stayed here in October, 2 adults & 2 children. Apartment was great, everything we needed was there. The building and apartments are very well kept and spotlessly clean. The balcony is great for a bit of afternoon/evening sun when you have returned from the beach/pool. Everything is within 5/10 mins walking distance and we enjoyed lots of lovely meals in the nearby restaurants. The apartment has washing machine, a/c, TV with all cable channels, great shower and comfy beds. The owners were great and happy to accommodate. Pool area was very clean and my children had lots of fun in it. Ideal holiday rental.
We stayed here for 1 week in October, we only wish we could have stayed longer, the apartment was spotless with everything you need. The balcony got the sun all afternoon so a great little sun trap, but if you like to sit around the pool there was plenty of room. We’ve been to Los Alcazares several times over the last few years and Albatross if our favourite complex. Everything is within easy walking distance and the complex is lovely and quiet.
We would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family and hope to return again next year.
